From the Desert to the Ponderosa Pine Forest

Flagstaff Arizona

We made it through the hot, dusty desert, driving right through Las Vegas.

Finally arriving in the beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest that Flagstaff abides in. It's probably 20 degrees cooler here than in Phoenix, so we're happy here. Shannon has graciously agreed to come visit us for the day.

So this morning our "Mobile Mechanic Medic" came to do a tune up on Patientlady. It feels like God is watching over us by sending us Robert. He was wonderful and did a great job quickly. He came this morning and was done before 11:00. If you're in Flagstaff and have car trouble, call Robert!

Robert even gave us a contact to replace the front tires (the inner edges are bald!). So Monday we expect to have new tires.

The air conditioning is working (really well, brrrr :) the motor is tuned up, we found the circuit breaker, we have hot water and a heater. So far the shake down cruise is working right on schedule.

Here we are a Black Bart's RV Park in Flagstaff.

Nice! Hope you guys are enjoying the RV parks, they look wonderful with all the nice big trees. I bet you guys are having your fires whenever you can. Have you gotten a portable fire bowl yet?

No firebowl yet, but I saw one at Camping Wold that folds up and goes into a bag for storage. I like the idea of keeping the mess contained. We had a fire at Lassen but nowhere else yet.

I'm always reading the posts late but I still enjoy them so much. Thanks for posting Lucy.
